Our fees
At Equilibrium Psychology all sessions run for approximately 50 mins.
Our Clinical Psychologists charge:
- Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm: $245
- Monday to Friday, before 9am or after 5pm: $260
- Saturday: $260
Our Registered Psychologists/Clinical Psychology Registrars charge:
- Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm: $205
- Monday to Friday, before 9am or after 5pm: $220
- Saturday: $220
No doctor’s referral is required unless you wish to claim on Medicare.
Medicare does not provide a rebate for couples therapy.
Equilibrium only sees clients 18+
Rebates
Rebates may be available from Medicare and most Private Health-funds.
Medicare
If you receive a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP you are entitled to a Medicare rebate of $137.05 per session for 10 sessions per calendar year for Clinical Psychologists & $93.35 for Registered Psychologist/ Clinical Psychology Registrars. The full session fee is payable at the time of your appointment and Medicare will reimburse to your nominated bank account within 24 – 48 hours. The rebate will be higher if, towards the end of the year, you have exceeded your Medicare safety net. Please contact us if you would like more information.
Private health funds
Please check with your fund to see if you are covered.
Cancellation Policy
We require 24 hours notice for cancellations or changes to your appointment or the full fee will be charged. If you have a Monday appointment, notice is required before 4pm on Friday to avoid cancellation fees.
